Jason Heath & the Greedy Souls are coming through Sacramento tomorrow on 12/8, playing the Torch Club. They create some killer modern Americana with a message. Their album, The Vain Hope of Horse, features guest spots from Tom Morello (RATM), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Nels Cline (Wilco), and Kid Lightning and the accordionist is Jason Federici, son of the late Danny Federici (The Boss’s E Street Band). Their for-charity track, “A Fighter’s Lullaby”, has received over 30,000 downloads on the Dannyfund.org website.
