There’s still a few chances to check out a FREE concert this summer at Cesar Chavez Park in downtown. These shows are still coming up, starting with the one tonight!

The free Friday Night Concerts are back! Same place as previous years, at Cesar Chavez Park at 10th and J Street. The shows run from 5 PM top 9 PM.

R5 – Grand Opening! Really!

Yeah, they opened in June for a ‘soft opening’, but the REAL grand opening is this weekend, September 8 and 9. They promise food and giveaways. We shall see about that. But they do have over a dozen bands lined up to play. The lineup for both days includes Mumbo Gumbo, Helper Monkeys, Secretions, The Snobs, Pets, Hot Pistol, and many more!
