Like they did the last couple years, Hot Italian and Jerry Perry are presenting a series of free lunchtime shows at Fremont Park, 16th & Q streets. Here’s the schedule for this year:

The Hot Lunch Concert Series is back for its third year serving Tuscan-inspired pizzas every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. from now until Sept. 1 at Fremont Park, 16th and P streets.

A brilliant collaboration of free music and lunch, which includes a pizza and drink for just $10 (including tax) from Hot Italian, located on 16th and Q streets in Midtown.

Thursday Hot Lunch Concert Series

More free concerts in parks! Is this a great town or what?!! Gather round Fremont Park at 1515 Q Street on Thursdays for free music from some fine local bands and artists. Food will be available from Hot Italian also. Shows run from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. The lineup:

Aug. 20 – Blvd Park – alternative folk
Aug. 27 – Kate Gaffney – country folk blues
Sept. 3 – Richard March – country
Sept. 10 – Ricky Berger – jazz folk
Sept. 17 – Syncro – funky soul
