Lonestar (and more) At The Fair

Country stars Lonestar will be playing the California State Fair on July 26th. They will be celebrating their new release Party Heard Around The World, their tenth album. From their press release:

Known both for strong country roots as well as multi-genre crossover appeal that has led to a history of success on the country and the pop/rock charts, Lonestar has sold over 10 million album units since its 1995 debut. The Texas bred band has built an impressive list of hit singles on the country charts, including 10 #1s, while at the same time landing 9 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

State Fair Concerts Announced

The California State Fair has announced the partial lineup for its 2010 State Fair Concert Series. General viewing of all concerts is free with State Fair admission but a limited number of reserved seats will be sold at an additional price of $10-49 each. Reserved seating in the Gold Circle area will go on sale Thursday, April 15. Up to four additional acts may be added to the lineup. All shows will start at 8:00 PM on the Golden1 Stage, unless otherwise noted.

The Fab Four: Wednesday, July 14, Reserved Seating $10

Slaughter: Thursday, July 15, Reserved Seating $10

The Family Stone, Featuring Jerry Martini and Cynthia Robinson, Original founding members of Sly & The Family Stone: Saturday, July 17, Reserved Seating $10

The California State Fair starts tomorrow and they are featuring a wide variety of musical acts. Something old, something new, something classic, something diverse, and well, whatever MC Hammer is ;-)
