Come to Marilyn’s on Sunday October 11 and help celebrate the birthday of local singer-songwriter Autumn Sky. She is described on the Marilyn’s site thus: “beautiful jazz voice major, composes, sings all of her songs, plays a lot of instruments and is performing with a full band which she has not done in a long time”. She’s also calling it her “Anti-Folk Festival” and will be supported by local acts Walking Spanish, Clemon’, Todd Morgan and the Emblems, All on Seven, Ryan McCarroll, and Dante Romandia.
Legendary singer-songwriter Sal Valentino (learn more) will perform at Marilyn’s this Saturday night. October 10th is the date and 8:30 is the time. Sal was the man behind the Beau Brummels in the 60s, with hits like Laugh, Laugh and Just A Little. In the 70s, he lead the area favorites Stoneground. Opening the show are local rockers Walking Spanish.
